States I Have Visited (so far)

I have visited 46 states. That is 92% of the country!

I definitely need to add Alaska to my visited list. Arkansas, Alabama, and Mississippi are not high on my list of places to go and I don’t know anyone who lives in those states, but I should do them just to finish off all 50!

Countries I Have Visited

Some country details:

  • In Japan, I have been to Tokyo and Nikko.
  • In China, I have been to Hong Kong; Shenzen and Dongguan in Guangdong Province; and Xiamen in Fujian Province.
  • In the Philippines, I have been to Manila and Banan.
  • In Tanzania, I have visited the cities of Arusha and Mto Wa Mbu and the national parks/sites Tarangire, Lake Burungi (Burunge Tented Camp), Ngorongoro Crater (Ngorongoro Farm House), the Oldupai Museum, Lake Eyasi (Kisima Ngeda Camp), and the Serengeti (Rongai 2 Tented Camp).

  • Alaska (Denali and cruise along the coast)
  • Iceland circle tour
  • Tuscany
  • Climb Mt. Kilimanjaroo
  • Another safari in Tanzania/Kenya (need to go back)
  • Machu Pichu
  • Maharaja’s Express in India
  • More US National Parks/Monuments/etc. While I have been to more than two dozen US National Parks (see below), there are a few I have not been to that I want to go to.
